It will fit perfectly as the bed of the 3D printer is 16" x 16". Seems logical to me. The only reason I went with the controller over an SSR was again simplicity as I have no experience in setting up an SSR. With the controller all I need to do is set the bed temperature on the printer to "Zero" and then set the controller for the heated bed to the temperature I need to print ABS filament. Also wondering your reasons for choosing the temp controller rather than using a SSR. I am still learning Cura at this point and so have not decided if I will go to something else for my slicing software. Hopefully today the new heating element will finally arrive. I'll be installing that first and posting about it's setup along with the new enclosure I am putting the finishing touches on. So lots of good stuff coming up. Glad to have a faithful reader!Dave Langkamphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13852456459188159285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5316268823281804044.post-31186243025565821002018-01-22T15:47:11.403-08:002018-01-22T15:47:11.403-08:00Congratulations on your new printer. I just bought the same printer. Am using Cura with it. Are you happy with Cura? Do you see a need to go with one of the paid slicers? My buddy swears by Simplify3d. Thanks for the great post. As always, look forward to posts on projects you are working on!<br />MarkAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
